I not eat anything white. I started doing this because of Arthritis. Sugar, flour, pasta, potatoes and rice spikes insulin which causes inflammation. These foods do not have much nutritional value anyway. Not fun but by eliminating , I lost weight.
Thanks for the tips. I am 42 and have lost 92 lbs but the last 30 has been such a battle of gaining 10-15 and losing the same pounds over and over.
I can't believe you are 47!!!!
Thanks for the reminder of chia seeds, I forgot about them (and they give me more energy for running as well!)
